Van Etten Lake
Van Etten Lake is a 1,320-acre all-sports lake in Iosco County, one of the most well-rounded inland lakes in northern Michigan. It connects through the Pine River to the Au Sable River and eventually Lake Huron, making it part of one of the most storied waterways in the state. Whether you are here to fish, waterski, kayak, or just float and do nothing, this lake handles all of it.
Kayaking, paddleboarding, swimming, waterskiing, tubing, canoeing and fishing. All from the private dock. The lake stays glass in the morning and comes alive by afternoon.
Largemouth and smallmouth bass, northern pike, walleye, crappie and rainbow trout. The Au Sable, one of the most storied trout rivers in the country, is minutes away.
Ice fishing in winter is legendary. Cross-country ski and snowmobile trails thread the area. Autumn brings some of the best color in the Lower Peninsula.
